It has been a HOT week up at the Loup, but we have made some headway getting ready for our next pour. This may sound like a broken record, but we postponed our scheduled pour of 7/21, to allow more time to get ready & are on track for 7/24. I won’t tell you when we have the last pour scheduled for, but will certainly let you know when it’s finished!

Within the next few weeks we plan to start the framing on the bathroom walls, and the excavation on the septic system drain fields. With the concrete work behind us by then, we should be able to post a schedule that will be a bit more reliable for volunteers to count on.

Imagine yourself inside a concrete box baked by the sun, with no breeze and no river to jump in during this HOT stretch, and it will give you an appreciation for what our crew & volunteers have been doing to help us get our concrete forms ready for each pour.
