Loup Loup Ski Area Summer Activity Report for August 13th

Much has happened since the last report by this author. Both of our poured in place tanks for the septic system are finished, and the foundation for the bathroom building is done. Transport lines and ditches are being worked on to connect the septic tanks, and framing has started on the building. What is happening at the Loup is more exciting than this writing!

Our steady skeleton crew will be working on the building framing in anticipation of a work session August 19th and 20th. On that weekend, not only will we be looking forward to significant progress by a number of carpenters donating their weekend, but we will have a crew working on sprucing up our lodge with cleaning and painting. In addition, 2 excavation companies will be Teaming up to install the filtration beds for the septic system. If you have been waiting for a “work weekend” this would be one to attend.

Robert Courtney, Shannon Pock & Badger Excavation, Rick Fletcher, Dan Desjardins, and a host of others deserve a thank you for their help.
