Loup Loup Ski Area Summer Activity Report for November 20th

Apologies to you faithful readers! Although we did make progress through 11/13, this writer didn’t follow up with that most important duty to report to you. But here we are a week later & the report is: The insulation has been installed and inspected & the drywall is stocked in the building, ready for 2 separate teams to start hanging. The deck is finished & the wheel chair ramp to the Admin. level is under construction. The railings on the deck are up and the stairs are due for installation soon. Now that we have had snow, a major cleanup effort has been underway.

Between Dan McAuliffe’s Methow Valley Drywall and Gene Bell’s Okanogan Drywall, both floors will be under the drywaller’s knife, so to speak, over the next week or so. Painting will follow with interior doors (ready & waiting), trim, flooring, counters, cabinets etc. just as soon as it is their turn. Materials and weather permitting, the ramp will be finished and the stairs, with their own railings, will be installed. We are hurrying just as fast as we can! If you prey for snow, prey that we are faster!

Thank you Brad, “the insulator”, Ryan, Luke, Dick, Steve, you faithful Board Members, North Cascade Builders Supply, and North Valley Lumber.
