For those of you waiting with baited breath, this writer apologizes for being so slack [and so does this webmaster]. The bathrooms in our New Building have been open for “Business” since Opening Day December 16th (2006), and the upstairs Ticket and Guest Services Office came on line December 20th. With these facilities operational (on the condition we continue to work on our “punch list”) the Ski School was able to move out of the corner of the Lodge and into the old ticket office space, allowing for more tables and elbow room in the Lodge.

There are things yet to finish up, but it is gratifying to see the New Building well used.

There are so many who can take pride in what was accomplished this year, but this last push could not have resulted in being open when we were had not our plumber and electricians put in the long and late hours they did, not to mention a select few Board Members who worked up to the opening minute. For all you volunteers, past, present & future, THANK YOU! And as the advertisement goes, this Building is for YOU!
