Grooming- Allot like yesterday with some grooming on Ridge, Loup, Raceface, Stairway, and Double Z. All of the lower mountain is groomed and ready as is the rope tow hill
Temperature- Mid thirties expected as the lifts roll
Skies- overcast and dark still at 6:30am
Snow conditions- springlike corn snow -some rain last night, but the base is holding up well. Very little freezing last night so expect the snow to get softer as the day progresses.
Wind- light and variable
Be advised you may encounter motorized maintenance equipment at any time within the recreation area.
AREA 51 NORDIC- grooming operations underway-
3/5/2014- all trails were groomed with the snowcat, tracks were set
3/8/2014- Flat, Short, and Inner Loops were groomed with the snowcat
South Summit- Snopark XC trail system
3/7/2014- trails 1, 2, F, 9, 10, 6, 7 were groomed with the snowcat
WILD WOLF TUBING HILL-OPEN WEEKENDS
TUBING COMMENTS: All tubers must not be afraid of speed, obtain a ticket and be at least 42" inches tall; all minors must have a guardian's signature on this form.
Uphill Policy Statement -AFTER OPENING WEEKEND: All uphill skiers please check in at the ticket window and get up-dates on safe uphill traffic routes and liability release requirements. Up hill traffic is allowed on designated routes but you must have a properly executed liability waiver signed. Dogs are not allowed on the hill at any time. This policy mitigates safety concerns of uphill recreational traffic during maintenance and normal operating hours, while still allowing uphill traffic access to public lands. Please be aware that machinery can be found working anywhere on the mountain at any time.
