From Seattle:

about 245 miles
   1. Take Interstate HWY 90 east, toward Spokane over Snoqualmie Pass
   2. Take the WA 970 north exit, exit number 85 for Wenatchee
   3. Continue on the exit ramp over I-90 and turn right onto WA 970.
   4. WA 970 becomes US 97.
   5. Continue on US 97 over Blewett Pass
   6. Turn right/east onto US HWY 97 north
   7. Follow the signs for US 97 north, HWY 2 east and Okanogan.
   8. When you come to another traffic light at a "T," turn LEFT onto US 97 north, US 2 east, following the signs for Okanogan
   9. Continue on US 97, crossing the Columbia River at Bebe Bridge.
  10. Several miles after Wells Dam, just before you reach Pateros, turn LEFT onto WA HWY 153 north.
  11. Follow WA HWY 153 through the town of Carlton
  12. Turn RIGHT onto WA HWY 20 about two miles before Twisp.
  13. Follow WA HWY 20 thirteen miles to the summit of Loup Loup Pass.
  14. Turn LEFT/north on to the entrance road for Loup Loup Ski Bowl, Forest Service Road 42.

  15. Continue on the pavement which turns into FS Road 4200 100 for just under two miles to the parking lot/end of the road.

 

From Wenatchee:

about 100 miles
   1. Take US 97 north from Wenatchee to East Wenatchee
   2. Follow US HWY 97 north, US 2 east, following the signs for Okanogan
   3. Continue on US 97, crossing the Columbia River at the Bebe Bridge.
   4. Several miles after Wells Dam, just before you reach Pateros, turn LEFT onto WA HWY 153 north.
   5. Follow WA HWY 153 through the town of Carlton.
   6. Turn RIGHT onto WA HWY 20 a couple of miles before reaching Twisp.
   7. Follow WA HWY 20 to the summit of Loup Loup Pass.
   8. Turn LEFT/north into the entrance road for Loup Loup Ski Bowl, FS Road 42.

   9. Continue on the pavement which turns into road 4200 100 for just under two miles to the parking lot/end of the road.

 

From Spokane:

about 170 miles
   1. Take I-90 to the US HWY 2 west exit, exit number 277, for Fairchild AFB/Spokane Airport/Davenport.
   2. Merge onto US HWY 2 west.
   3. Turn slight right on to Washington State Highway 21.
   4. Stay straight to go on to Washington State Highway 174 towards Grand Coulee Dam.
   5. Drive passed Grand Coulee straight through the intersection towards Chief Joseph Dam.
   6. Make a slight right turn on to HWY 17 continuing towards Chief Joseph Dam.
   7. Go past the dam, over the river below the dam, towards Fort Okanogan.

   8. Just passed Fort Okanogan turn right/north on to Washington State Highway 97 towards Okanogan & Omak.
   9. side note--Optional quickest direct route through Malott to HWY 20 west, ten miles before Okanogan & Omak--
  10. Turn LEFT onto WA HWY 20 at the signs for Twisp/Winthrop & Conconully State Park at the first Okanogan turn off.
  11. When the road comes to a "T," turn left/west to continue on to WA HWY 20 towards Twisp & Winthrop.
  12. Follow WA HWY 20 eighteen miles to the summit of Loup Loup Pass.
  13. Turn RIGHT/north in to the entrance road for Loup Loup Ski Bowl, FS 42.

  14. Continue for just under two miles on the pavement which turns into road 4200 100 to the parking lot/end of the road.
